- WE WILL PROVIDE AN ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY AND ECONOMIC SOLUTION THAT ALLOWS EVERYBODY TO PRODUCE AND USE FOSSIL-FREE ENERGY
-
Producing renewable methanol from natural enzymes using a bio-catalytic process is environmentally friendly and reduces the required resources to a minimum. We follow and adapt the processes of nature like the reversed three-step alcohol metabolism.
- WE WILL PROVIDE AN ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY AND ECONOMIC SOLUTION THAT CAN STORE THE SURPLUS AND UNUSED ENERGY RESOURCES OF SMALL AND MIDSIZE PHOTOVOLTAIC AND WINDPOWER SYSTEMS WORLDWIDE
-
Worldwide, photovoltaics is experiencing unabated growth. Switzerland alone has growth rates of around 12% CAGR of the annual installed PV capacity. The big problem is the relatively low usage factor of 0.6 in isolated solutions and the lack of flexible energy storage solutions. We would like to provide the solution to allow an optimal use of these renewable energy sources through the power-to-liquid (P2L) storage of the potentially available energy and store it for a longer period, e.g. shift from summer to winter.
- WE WILL PROVIDE AN ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY AND ECONOMIC SOLUTION THAT CAN USE (BIND) THE CO2 FROM CO2 SOURCES
-
In Switzerland, around 100 tons of carbon dioxide are emitted into the ambient air every day from unavoidable CO2 sources such as from biogas or sewage gas plants. We would like to use these CO2 resources (not limited to Switzerland of course) for the production of regenerative methanol so that this CO2 is no longer emitted directly into the atmosphere.
- WE WILL PROVIDE AN ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY AND ECONOMIC SOLUTION THAT MAKES ELECTRIC MOBILITY CO2-NEUTRAL AND LIMITLESS
-
Renewable methanol as a practicable, safe, liquid hydrogen storage medium will accelerate the spread of electromobility and significantly reduce the problems of pure battery usage (material resources, charging times, limited ranges, short circuit risks). In addition, the conventional injection engines with renewable methanol can be operated in a CO2-neutral manner and without air pollutants, so that existing technologies can continue to be used in an environmentally and resource-friendly manner.
