We are currently working on the development of our next prototype, the product demonstrator version, and plan to realize our first system in 2025 in the region of Schaffhausen, next to a biogas plant (biogenic CO2 sourcing). It depends also on the current economic and geo-political situations.

The CO2 for our first WPE-RS100 system will come from a biogas plant in the Schaffhausen region. Biogas contains around 30-40% biogenic CO2 from the organic residues, which has not yet been used for energy applications.

We are developing the MYCO2™, a CO2 filtering and recycling system, which filters the biogenic CO2 out of the raw gas stream and provides it to our WPE-RS100 in sufficient quality.

This indirect carbon capturing from ambient air and utilization of biogenic CO2 makes great sense. Plants are the natural CO2 filters of the ambient air and work extremely energy efficient and distributed all over the world.

In the future, not only the methane gases can be energetically utilized in biogas production, but also the biogenic CO2 can be processed into renewable e-methanol. An upgrading of the biogas plants and an increase in the added value of as many locally available resources become possible.

Of course we're highly aware of the future lack of drinking water and therefore we engineer a filter technology which allows us, using non-drinkable water for producing renewable methanol with the bio-catalytic process. We're also planning to provide optional sea water filter modules.

So it will be possible using our willpower energy™ systems all around the world, even you don't have clean water sources. Producing fossil-free energy shall be possible everywhere for everyone!

The WPE-RS100 will be capable, to carry up to 10 reactor modules of the WPE-RS10. Based on the currently planned specifications and the on-going development we aim to achieve a selling price for the fully configured WPE-RS100 system below CHF 250'000.-.

In addition to the costs for the respective RS10 units, this price also includes the system integration work, a technical system container and an external stainless steel methanol tank.

Due to the volatile fuel prices and increasing carbon tax charges it's quite likely to get a return on investment of less than 10 years for your fossil-free fuel investment. We also plan to offer financing services like monthly all included rental fees together with partners, depending on the individual requirements of the future customers.

The maintenance of the WPE-RS100 will be on a moderate level, like the maintenance of the single WPE-RS10 modules. The reusable enzyme cartridges / reactor modules have to be exchanged two times a year. This can be done by the user itself, it will be as easy like to exchange a printer ink cartridge. The system state will be remotely monitored by METHANOLOGY.
