M100 Methanol Heavy Truck - power like a diesel truck but without air pollution

World’s First: Geely launched FARIZON AUTO M100 Methanol Heavy Truck in Summer 2019

Geely has been developing methanol fuel powertrains for 15 years. FARIZON AUTO methanol heavy trucks are powered by a heavy-duty engine with Geely methanol power technologies. The B10 engine has a lifetime rating of over 621,371 miles (1 million km) and uses the same components as those from mainstream heavy truck manufacturers.

Methanol-powered trucks are as much reliable and can be used as the conventional diesel-powered trucks and don't need any AdBlue-liquids - only renewable methanol. There is also no complex and expensive technology or fuel infrastructure needed. Transportation companies can use the full payload capacity with a similar performance/range to weight ratio like they are familiar with diesel trucks.

Additional truck and bus manufacturer will follow the Geely way. So it's only a matter of time until next big truck brands will be equipped with similar engines as well. Renewable Methanol will be the solution to operate these innovative and climate-friendly methanol cars and trucks fully CO2-neutral.

Besides the already achieved pole position in manufacturing electrical vehicles, China's car- and truck industry has also become the global leader in developing and manufacturing "new energy combusted vehicles".
